The RM of Dufferin experienced a flood event in the spring of 2022 and as a result, ~300m of riverbank and roadway were washed out. Samson designed and constructed a repair that was over $400,000 below budget. The work consisted of negotiating a land purchase, municipal Right-of-Way widening, obtaining permits, constructing ~300m of new municipal roadway, re-shaping and stabilizing the riverbank, and rip-rap armouring. The project also included a roadway crossing of the TC Energy Keystone Pipeline.
