The Municipality retained Samson to conduct a Topographic Survey, Hydraulic Study, and preliminary planning regarding a replacement structure for this site.

Following completion of the studies and preliminary planning, Samson was contracted to Design and then Build the 60’ clear span bridge. The scope of work included the design of the new 60’ long 28’ wide CL-800 load rated steel and concrete bridge, obtaining permits from Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Water Security Agency, and Transport Canada, clay roadway build-up, road graveling, topsoil, seeding, installation of rip-rap erosion protection, and side slope erosion protection on the roadway.
